i/3 ÷ 2 ( so at present we'll reciprocate this)

=ane/three x 1/ii (out here nosotros have reciprocated likewise equally changed the partitioning sign to multiplication sign)

So Anonymous we'd solve this similar this:

1/iii ÷ ii ( so now nosotros'll reciprocate this)

=one/3 x 1/2 (out here we accept reciprocated every bit well as changed the division sign to multiplication sign)

=1/half-dozen ANSWER

(1/3) / (ii/1) is the same as 1/3 * 1/2 which in turn would become ane/6.

Dividing by ten is the same as multiplying past its repciprocal.

For example viii/2 is the aforementioned as 8 * 0.5

Dividing by 2 is the same equally multiplying past 0.5.

1/2 is the reciprocal of 2/1.( just flip the numbers upside downwards )
